"The Hudson River Valley Calendar has been designed and produced by Ted Spiegel for many years. The primary client has been Marist College. The Calendar "offers a four-season tour of one of America's most beautiful and culturally rich regions. Reaching 150 miles north of New York City to Troy as a tidal boarded by the Appalachian and Catskills Mountains." — Ted Spiegel

Observations
People expect a similar design based on prior calendars.
Feedback from calendar users: not only do they appreciate the photographs, but they also enjoy the design and the ability to write in the generous open spaces on the calendar.
"Ted Spiegel's photographs have illustrated many National Geographic articles and a shelf full of books, many of which explore the Hudson Valley." — from Ted's website
This is the 34th edition of the calendar.
Because this was a 'known' project that required graphic design and production skills, I didn't do much Discovery sketching.

Approach
This project was straightforward and required an eye for detail and frequent conversations with the printers. I also was responsible for several color corrections in the photographs.
Reflection
After tangling with several complex projects, it was a pleasure to engage with a project that had a clear process and goals. And I got to spend more time with Ted's photos.
